Bridgepoint Cleaning Network

Back To Course Calendar

Learn about the background of leather and its processing. Understand how to determine quality and market factors' impact on quality. Learn how to identify the three cleaning types of leather: protected, aniline and nubuck. Study the differences between these leathers and different solutions to similar problems using the diverse products of the Leather Master product line.

You will see and practice the cleaning techniques for the different leather types. You will spot clean inks, newspaper print, oils, grease and mustard from different leather samples. You will see and practice the repair of scratches, surface cuts and abrasions for different leather types. Learn which color problems can and cannot be restored in the home, and the science of color work made simple, by the Bridgepoint/Leather Master system.

Don't come to this class thinking you can sit back and relax. Each attendee will practice the techniques being taught on an individual sample provided. At the end of the course you'll be able to make money the next day. A test will also be taken to certify you as a Bridgepoint Leather Specialist.

This Class is CEC approved by the IICRC!
